This Nuummite was hand carved by myself into a heart shaped pendant. This particular piece is amazing because it has this amazing blue flash that is rare for Nuummite to have. This stone originates from Greenland and I bought straight from the miner who hand harvests from the land. Nuummite is a trade name for an Anthophyllite-Gedrite series of stones that contain a certain iridescence. It is quite rare, as one can only get to the locale via boat during certain months when the ice has melted. It can be seen in a variety of 'grades', the highest seemingly being the ones with the most colours and flash. Also known as The Sorcerer's Stone, this stone is said to be around 3 billion years old! Some people are selling Coppernite, Larvikite, and Arfvedsonite as Nuummite so watch out! Though they may look similar, they have a completely different chemical composition.
