This Larimar was hand carved by me into a heart shaped pendant. I bought this stone from Stone Haven Gems collection, and it was from a tumble that was quite big and perfect for this shape! Larimar is a trade name for blue Pectolite which the stone in this blue form has only been found in the Dominican Republic. The mines have closed more than once due to hazardous conditions, making this stone extra rare.
