This stone came from Thunder Bay, Ontario, where the Amethyst is known for the inclusions of Hematite, which is the mineral that has made these points red! The druzy side will be left raw, and the back (the brown host rock) and remainder will be polished. Due to the size of the points on this stone, for now I will be taking bigger plug orders, and any remaining material I will see if I can get smaller sizes out of! (It would be odd to just have one point for a plug.....or would it?)
