I have collected stones from Greenland from a few different independent miners over the years, and have been holding onto some pieces. They are all raw and contains some edges that I cut with the saw! This kit includes:
1) Nuummite (12.30) - Nuummite is a trade name for an Anthophyllite-Gedrite series of stones that contain a certain iridescence. It is quite rare, as one can only get to the locale via boat during certain months when the ice has melted. It can be seen in a variety of 'grades', the highest seemingly being the ones with the most colours and flash. Also known as The Sorcerer's Stone, this stone is said to be around 3 billion years old!
2) Kakortokite (2.72 grams) - This stone comes from Illimaussaq Complex, Kangerdlussaq Fjord, Julianebab District in Greenland. Kakortokite consists of a few stones: Nepheline (white), Eudialyte (red/pink) and Arfvedsonite (black)
3) Hackmanite (6.70 grams) - Hackmanite is a type of fluorescent Sodalite and can come in a variety of colours! This one being blue. If you would like to see more colours, please visit my shop!
4) Ussingite (8.10 grams) - Usually found in sodalite-bearing Pegmatites, it is commonly found with sodalite, and fluorescent sodalite, called Hackmanite. Though Ussingite itself, is not fluorescent.
5) Tugtupite (3.17 grams) - This stone is fluorescent as well, but pink, unlike the Hackmanite that glows orange.
Stones shown in the pictures is the one you will receive.
