This Shah Maghsoud is hand carved by me and set in a 925 silver dragonfly pendant. I bought this gorgeous rough stone (Shah Maghsoud) from my friends at Divine Gems (https://www.divinegems.ca/) locally, in which they focus on rare gems from Afghanistan--this one in particular a type of Serpentine which is used for prayer beads. I can't find too much info other than prayer beads when researching Shah Maghsoud, but I do know that this stone has an incredible texture--like a greasy feeling that obviously doesn't rub off--very nice to touch! The silver Dragonfly pendant I purchased from one of our local Rock and Gem shows! The dragonfly was made from the lost wax cast technique and is made from 925 silver. It is one of a kind! I did have a little accident when setting the stone where one of the 'claws' which hold it in place had fallen off. The crystal is definitely not going anywhere but I have reduced the price because of this minor flaw. I tried to capture this in the 5th image.
