This Pink Kunzite cabochon was hand carved by me! The stone was originally mined in Afghanistan. I am proud of this piece as Kunzite is incredibly hard to cut as it has to be done with the 'grain' of the stone. On the bottom around the edge there is a little bit of roughness that I couldn't polish out but if you were to set it in silver or whatever, it can easily be hidden. I cant really get it in the images, but there are some rainbows inside the piece when moved around. Polished on all sides, this pink piece was carved into a freeform shape!
