Rosella opalite heart pendant

This gorgeous Australian Rosella Opalite was hand carved by me into a heart shaped pendant. This rare stone was apparently mined out in 2009 and is named after a local parrot of similar colours. I usually find this stone with a lot of forest greens, but this slab had a large amount of pinks, so I cut in an area in which was pink. The dendrites throughout the pink add another dimension to the stone. Really unreal - I can't find info on Mindat, but if you look up this stone online, you will see the variations, and how beautiful this one is in comparison!
Wear alone, or pair with another with and a shape in the middle - make your necklace as unique as  your are! The last image is a sample of this style paired with others for a visual reference.
