I hand carved this claw shaped pendant out of Ussingite/Hackmanite mix from Greenland. I bought this stone straight from the miner! This piece is awesome because it displays the literal separation in the two stones: Ussingite (the pink) is not fluorescent - it is a different mineral. Hackmanite is the trade name given to fluorescent sodalites which can be found in different locations and colours from all over the world. Want to know more on the individual stones? I recommend mindat.org, a scientific mineral database that exposes some cool info, great pictures as well as chemical makeups of stone!
