This listing is for a pair of Iridescent Calcite plugs hand carved to your size. This stone is amazing - a dark brown with gold coloured flecks, it appears black because of the density of the crystals, but in the light almost looks like a dark amber. The matrix is black and compliments the raw part so well <3 I scored it at a rock and gem show years ago and haven't seen anything since. I have made two pairs to date from this piece, and totally forgot about it at the back of the rock bin! The druzy side will be left raw, while the remainder will be polished! This is NOT processed - this is a mineral specimen and iridescence in Calcite occurs when inner dislocations are in parallel to the cleavage planes (mindat.com).

Stone shown in the picture is the one I will be making your plugs from. Due to the nature of hand crafting each plug, sizes may vary within .mm of each other and will not be a perfect measurement all around the saddle. As this would be body jewelry, these items cannot be returned or exchanged for sanitary reasons.
