This Amethyst is from Brazil and I hand carved it into a crystal point inspired by Apophyllite! I do my best to use up all the material when I cut and carve, and this is one of those instances. The last image is an example of the piece I started with - then the plugs (for stretched ears) I made from them - then the top of the point which is leftover! What I love in this piece is the mirror-like effect that this has - which WASN'T there in the original piece. It only looks like this I think because it is cut so close to the bottom of the point? Whatever the reason, it seems extra magical and really fun to meditate to!
