This Anthophyllite was hand carved by me into a teardrop shaped pendant. Some are selling this under the trade name Fireworks Stone, as the flashy parts when moved around does look quite like it. This stone comes from Inner Mongolia in particular, but can be found in a variety of locales around the world. I would call this a cousin to Nuummite as Nuummite is also Anthophyllite Gedrite - however the stone from this locale has included other minerals in it as well - Anthophyllite, Staurolite with (most likely) Almandine Garnet, and smaller amounts of Chlorite, Cordierite, and Quartz.
I have done a blog post discussing this stone more in depth as well as sources showing the results of testing done, I recommend giving it a read if you are interested in this stone! (https://gotstonedjewelry.com/blogs/news/fireworks-stone-not-actually-astrophyllite)
