This Nuummite cabochon was hand carved by myself -- This stone originates from Greenland. Nuummite is a trade name for an Anthophyllite-Gedrite series of stones that contain a certain iridescence. It is quite rare, as one can only get to the locale via boat during certain months when the ice has melted. It can be seen in a variety of 'grades', the highest seemingly being the ones with the most colours and flash. Also known as The Sorcerer's Stone, this stone is said to be around 3 billion years old! This one even has inclusions of Pyrrhotite, which make it super attracted to magnets! Really grounding, AND fun to play with ;)
