I cut and carved this Indonesian Wood Opal to fit this 925 silver bezel and the edges hug it tightly in place so no epoxy was used :)
This beautiful rare blue stone was created over thousands of years and began with a volcanic eruption which lead to the burning of a forest surrounding a volcano in Indonesia. Overtime, the forests lava floor has been replaced with water that contained high mineral content in which seeped into the remaining trees and replaced the organic material with silica and other elements - finally forming this beautiful stone.
